I've always loved painting wildlife. Yet, when I painted my first balloon, it seemed as if the inspiration to portray animals vanished. However, three years later, a lively Basenji puppy named Basil came into our lives. I was feeling inspired to paint animals again, but with a twist...painting Basil-inspired wildlife, with balloons, each one with an inspiring message.

Capturing Basil's playful antics, unique sitting and lying positions, she has become the main muse for this series. Through her vibrant spirit, I paint her adorned in various animal skins, infusing a delightful twist and message into each piece.

While this series exudes a sense of joy and playfulness, its purpose goes beyond that. It aims to inspire you through life's everyday moments, where finding joy may be a struggle.
