I’m a Southern California artist creating realistic mylar balloon paintings that blend still life traditions, trompe l’oeil realism, and contemporary composition.

What started as a tiny painting during a 100 day paint challenge quickly became something more. The challenge of creating a 3-dimensional object on a flat surface became the kind of focus my whole being needed.

Over time, mylar balloons became more than a subject. Their creases, reflective surfaces, and sense of familiarity turned into a way of exploring joy, resilience, memory and the quiet optimism people carry through everyday life.

I create from my home studio, inspired by faith, family, and the belief that even small moments of joy can shift everything.
